Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth using a fork.
- Stir in the melted butter until well blended.
- Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt to the mixture, mixing thoroughly.
- Incorporate the sugar, then add the beaten egg and vanilla extract, mixing once more until combined.
- Carefully fold in the flour, being cautious not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring an even distribution.
- Pour the batter into a greased 4×8-inch loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
