Description

A warm, moist chocolate chip banana bread that combines ripe bananas with indulgent chocolate for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth using a fork.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well blended.
  4. Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt to the mixture, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Incorporate the sugar, then add the beaten egg and vanilla extract, mixing once more until combined.
  6. Carefully fold in the flour, being cautious not to overmix.
  7. Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring an even distribution.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased 4×8-inch loaf pan.
