Description
A delicious, moist banana bread filled with chocolate chips, perfect for breakfast or as a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas until well combined.
- Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
- Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract; mix thoroughly.
- Gradually fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness. Don’t over-mix the batter for a light texture.
