Description
A crisp, garlicky Chicken Caesar sandwich that elevates your lunch with tender chicken, crunchy romaine, and savory Parmesan on toasted sourdough.
Ingredients
- 2 slices crusty bread (sourdough or whole grain recommended)
- 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced (grilled, roasted, or leftover rotisserie)
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- Parmesan cheese, for garnish (freshly grated or shaved)
Instructions
- Toast the bread until golden and crisp, about 2–4 minutes.
- Toss chopped romaine with Caesar dressing to coat evenly.
- Layer sliced chicken on one slice of toast.
- Add dressed romaine over the chicken and sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Top with the second slice of toast, press gently, and serve immediately.
Notes
For substitutions, ciabatta, baguette, or kaiser roll work well. Use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience. For dressing, try a lighter Caesar or Greek yogurt with lemon for a tangy option.
