Description
Comforting sliders made with soft Kings Hawaiian rolls, filled with shredded chicken, bacon, ranch dressing, and brushed with a buttery maple glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 package Kings Hawaiian rolls (typically 12 rolls, connected)
- 2–3 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken is perfect)
- 6–8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 3/4 to 1 cup ranch dressing
- 6–8 slices cheese (optional; cheddar, provolone, or pepper jack)
- 3–4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey as a substitute)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, chopped bacon, and ranch dressing; stir until evenly coated.
- Place the connected Kings Hawaiian rolls on a baking sheet and carefully slice them horizontally so the top remains attached to the bottom set.
- Spread the chicken-and-bacon mixture in an even layer over the bottom half of the rolls.
- If using cheese, lay the slices across the chicken mixture.
- Replace the top half of the rolls.
- Melt the butter and stir in the maple syrup; brush the mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the tops are golden and the filling is hot.
- Remove from oven, let rest for 2–3 minutes, slice between the rolls with a sharp knife, and serve warm.
Notes
When reheating, ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
