Miniature cheeseburgers baked in Hawaiian rolls, perfect for gatherings and game days.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 12 Hawaiian rolls (pack)
- 8 slices American cheese
- Pickles (slices or spears)
- Ketchup (to taste)
- Mustard (optional)
- Onion (optional)
- 2 tbsp melted butter (optional)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and position a rack in the middle.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until fully browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
- Season beef with salt and pepper to taste and drain excess fat.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
- Spread cooked beef evenly over the bottom rolls.
- Layer cheese slices over the beef.
- Add pickles, ketchup, mustard, and onions if using.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the sliders and press gently.
- Brush with melted butter if desired.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
- Remove from oven, slice between buns, and serve warm.
Notes
Consider swapping the cheese or adding toppings like sautéed onions for more flavor. These sliders travel well; wrap and reheat for picnics.
