A delightful blend of shrimp and salmon in a creamy garlic sauce with a Cajun kick, perfect for weeknight meals or dinner parties.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add salmon fillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside with salmon.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Return shrimp and salmon to the skillet, coating well with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over rice or pasta.
Notes
For a light option, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk. Consider marinating seafood in Cajun seasoning for enhanced flavor.
