Description

A delightful blend of shrimp and salmon in a creamy garlic sauce with a Cajun kick, perfect for weeknight meals or dinner parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add salmon fillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside with salmon.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  7. Return shrimp and salmon to the skillet, coating well with the sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over rice or pasta.

Notes

For a light option, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk. Consider marinating seafood in Cajun seasoning for enhanced flavor.
