A flavorful baked salmon dish drizzled with a rich homemade teriyaki sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil until fully combined.
- Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the teriyaki mixture over the top, making sure each fillet is well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Before serving, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
For a vegan option, swap honey with maple syrup and use gluten-free teriyaki sauce if necessary.
