This quick and simple salmon dish features a delightful sweet and savory glaze, perfect for any weeknight dinner or family gathering.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry.
- In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over the top of each fillet.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 8 minutes.
- Remove the salmon and apply the remaining glaze.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8 to 10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Let the salmon rest for about 2 minutes and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve over fluffy rice, alongside roasted vegetables, or with a crisp salad for a complete meal. Optionally, drizzle with extra honey or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
