Description

This quick and simple salmon dish features a delightful sweet and savory glaze, perfect for any weeknight dinner or family gathering.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over the top of each fillet.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 8 minutes.
  6. Remove the salmon and apply the remaining glaze.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8 to 10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  8. Let the salmon rest for about 2 minutes and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve over fluffy rice, alongside roasted vegetables, or with a crisp salad for a complete meal. Optionally, drizzle with extra honey or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
