Description

A mouthwatering delight that merges crunchiness, creaminess, and a kick of heat, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, stir together the cornstarch and beaten egg to create a batter.
  4. Dip each shrimp first in the cornstarch mixture, then the egg, and finally coat it with the panko breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Arrange the coated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  7. While the shrimp are cooking, prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha until smooth.
  8. Once cooked, serve the shrimp drizzled with the sauce and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Ensure the shrimp are well-dried before breading for better coating adherence. Adjust spiciness of the sauce as desired.
