Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
- In another bowl, stir together the cornstarch and beaten egg to create a batter.
- Dip each shrimp first in the cornstarch mixture, then the egg, and finally coat it with the panko breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
- While the shrimp are cooking, prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha until smooth.
- Once cooked, serve the shrimp drizzled with the sauce and garnish with chopped green onions.
